TRIP is a specialist primary care support unit based at Gwent Health Authority Mamhilad, and is looking for suitable people to help take forward the ATTRACT service from a Gwent-basis to an all-Wales one. The ATTRACT service has proved very popular in Gwent where it allows members of the primary care team to ring ATTRACT with a clinical query. A rapid search and summary of the evidence is undertaken and faxed back to the requesting clinician within 6 hours.
The post will involve all aspects of this question answering process from helping the clinicians ask the question in a structured manner, to searching the literature and summarising the results.
It is essential that the candidate has knowledge of working in the health service, preferably primary care; can work to tight deadlines and thrives under pressure.
If you are interested in the post and would like to have further information, please contact Jon Brassey on 01495 765105
Closing date for applications: Monday 23rd April
