LAISG: "Business and Legal Information Sources on the Internet"
University of Abertay Dundee, Thursday 29th March, 11:45 - 16:00
Increasingly more and more business, financial and legal information is
being published on the World Wide Web. This in part can be attributed to
businesses seeking to take advantage of the Internet as a tool to
disseminate information to customers, business partners and potential
investors. More legal information (legislation) is becoming available as the
Government and the European Union continues to open up access to information
about their activities
"Business and Legal Information sources on the Internet" is a half day
course that will introduce you to a range of quality business, financial and
legal information resources that can be used to extend the material
available to you and your users in the information enquiry process.
The event will be run by Chris Milne. Chris is an Academic Librarian, at the
University of Abertay Dundee, with subject responsibilities for Dundee
Business School. Chris has had a number of years teaching experience in the
fields of Information Technology and Information Skills.
