This is a reminder that the closing date for Copus Seed Grants and Copus
Development Grants is 14 December 2001.
Copus grant schemes support projects to engage people with the contemporary
issues and ideas linked with science, technology, engineering, maths and
medicine.
Seed grants: up to £3,000 to pump prime local activities that take place
throughout the year.
Development grants: up to £20,000/year, for a max of 2 years, to support
large-scale engagement activities to establish projects that continue beyond
the duration of the grant.
Deadline for applications for both grant schemes: 14 December 2001.
Copus is able to fund a broad range of projects. For this grant round,
Copus is particularly interested in supporting high quality applications
that include some or all of the following elements:
+ Projects that target clearly defined audiences, or that employ novel
methods of reaching new audiences
+ Projects that qualify for Science Year branding
+ Projects that involve public dialogue
+ Projects that involve collaboration with other individuals/organisations
Applicants must be resident in the UK.
