Re PT data from shear zones, you might wish to take a look at my just-published paper in GSA
Bulletin reporting PT results from within and beneath a high amphibolite facies extensional shear
zone in the East Humboldt Range metamorphic core complex in Nevada.
McGrew, Peters, and Wright, 2000, Thermobarometric constraints on the tectonothermal
evolution of the East Humboldt Range metamorphic core complex, Nevada, GSA Bulletin, 112,
45-60. (Also references cited therein).
However, I think only a few of the PT results reported therein actually equilibrated during
shearing, so perhaps this is not the kind of study you are interested in. Most of the results I
believe record PT earlier in the tectonic history. Of course, equilibrium is inherently difficult to
assess in shear zones. There have been a number of other thermobarometric studies of
extensional shear systems, but I do not have a bibliography culled specifically on the topic -- Kip
Hodges has published a number of papers from various terrains (including an earlier report on
the Ruby-East Humboldt complex), and I know a good bit of work has been done on the islands
of the eastern Meditteranean (e.g., Naxos), but I don't have the citations at hand at the moment.
Good luck.
