Maybe only tangent to the topic, but in case you might want to give a look to
the context of dream literature, together with K.Lynch's book, probably the
best place to get oriented is an excellent doctoral dissertation which to my
knowledge provides the most complete panorama of the field:
Newman, Francis X. Somnium: Medieval Theories of Dreaming and the Form of
Vision Poetry Doctoral Dissertation, Princeton University, 1963.
to same purpose, give a look at:
Dinzelbacher, Peter. Vision und Visionsliteratur im Mittelalter.
Stuttgart: A. Hiersemann, 1981.
for the visual arts, a collection of essays might indicate relevant
biblio.:
Paravicini Bagliani, Agostino, and Giorgio Stabile (eds.) Träume im
Mittelalter. Ikonologische Studien. Stuttgart: Belser Verlag, 1989.
Best wishes,
Umberto Taccheri
