The Information and Communication Technologies (ICT) Learning Centres
initiative is a new programme designed to help bridge the gap between
those in society who have access to ICT and those who do not. The aim is
to establish around 700 Learning Centres across England, which will help
to bring access to ICT and learning into disadvantaged communities.
DfEE are holding briefing events for potential bidders which will give
information on the programme and answer any questions you may have. The
events will be held at:
13 March - Birmingham (am),Derby (pm)
30 March -Exeter (am)
31 March - Newcastle (am)
3 April - Leeds (am), Preston (pm)
5 April - Guildford
6 April - London
