DCMS do also have a text only version of their site (which I assumed was
intended for people with browsers that could not support all the animation).
The text is very clear black on white in quite a large font size. People who
don't like the orange on brown may therefore prefer the text only version.

Peter Clarke couldn't get the information he wanted from part of
the DCMS website 'because it uses tiny brown print on
an orange background, a masterpiece of inaccessibility'.
It's worth telling them, despite the hassle involved.
Of course they should know this anyway, but perhaps there's a lonely
access champion in there who won't be believed until somebody complains!
