Dear all
There are a few remaining places on the creativity through literacy training
day at Bristol Museum and Art Gallery.
21st November:
Bristol City Museum and Art Gallery
A puppet company and professional scriptwriter have joined forces to create
a day looking at how puppets and performances can be developed around
objects. The day aims to provide useful ideas for both project work and for
interesting ways to develop and follow up workshop sessions.
This would be especially useful for anyone wanting to get involved in
projects or activities aimed at encouraging reluctant writers. Currently
there is a national focus on encouraging boys to write more for example. The
day should be equally useful however for just taking the time to think about
ways in which we can encourage the children to do the talking in out taught
sessions.
Places are free with all refreshments provided.
If you would like to attend this exciting day please contact

Caroline will be away on leave from tomorrow, so if you can let her know
today you can be assured of a place. After that her emails will be being
dealt with by a colleague. If you ask for a place and don't receive a reply,
please let me know and I will chase it up.
