Dear learned ones,
A while ago somebody posted a quote by Bernard of Chartes regarding dwarves on
giant's shoulders. I found it very usefull to put at the beginning of the
bibliography. Unfortunately I was told that everything has to be translated. Being
illiterate in latin, I would appreciate if you could provide the translation. Feel
free to correct if the quote has mistakes.
Nos esse quasi nanos gigantum umeris insidentes,
ut possimus plura eis et remotiora videre
non utique proprii visus acumine,
aut eminentia corporis,
sed quia in altum subuehimur
et extollimur magnitudine gigantea.
Thank you,
Patricia Legorreta.
