Dear List
I wonder if anyone on this list knows where I can find the answer to this
Question
The work of Bradshaw et al (Bacterial antigens cross-reactive with the
capsular polysaccharide of H.influenzae B Lancet 1:1095-98 1971) suggests
that many organisms like E coli may protect from invasive H influenza B
(Hib) by producing cross reacting antibodies.
In that case, the incidence of invasive H influenza B disease would have
increased with improved sanitation and a fall in the gastrointestinal
infection with E coli like infections in the developed world.
Is there such a reciprocal relationship.
Where can I access the figures (- preferably an internet resource)
Thanking you in anticipation
