Priscilla Kaplan wrote "I do wish I could just send in the list of
qualifiers we use to one place, rather than having to join or communicate
with 13 different working groups."
Would it be desirable to resurrect the Subelements Working Group, at least
as a single repository for discussion of qualifiers in general? The mailing
list is still functional as dc-subelements. Just a thought...
On a practical note, am I correct in assuming the following terminology:
An element qualifier refines an element and may be represented in HTML as
follows--for the qualifier 'isbasedon' of the element 'relation' we would
have:
<meta name="dc.relation.isbasedon" content="Shakespeare's Romeo and
Juliet">
A value qualifier is a scheme for formatting the content of the element--for
the value qualifier 'URI' for the element qualifier 'homepage' of the
element 'creator' we would have:
<meta name="dc.creator.homepage" scheme="URI"
content="http:/www.anyone.org"
An element value is a content string from a controlled list--for the element
value 'collection' for the element 'type' we would have:
<meta name="dc.type" scheme="DC Type WG List" content="collection"
Am I on solid ground here?
Yours...
