Couldn't agree more - It appears to me the debate goes from one extreme to
the other - from sins to the usual mainstream ideas about
disability without any reference from the academics on this list or the
journalists who write about disability being aware of the ideas on this
list. It is sad that such an oppurtunity to bring the debate up-todate is
missed because the people acting in 'defence' recall the pity, charity
stuff etc, sad cases scenario.
