Sorry, I should have mentioned that I had assumed that obviously strategy
comes first. You could even map out the ideal hierachy of models and
disciplines to use when setting up and managing websites, like this:
1. Strategic goals
2. Conceived as a marketing perspective
3. Then implemented using the skills of:
a) graphic design (getting people to take a look)
b) human-computer interaction and information design (making it easy
for them to stay)
c) information management (providing something worth their while coming
back to)
4. Founded on a technical infrastructure (hardware, software, a range of
different computing skills) that makes 3a, b and c easy and flexible.
(And before you say it, 3 is over-simplified and 4 is not detailed enough.)
