Aslib's Scottish Branch, working with Aslib's Professional Development Group
is pleased to present the successful Knowledge Management Seminar. The
seminar will be held in Edinburgh, enabling delegates from the north of
Britain to attend and save on the time and expense of travel to London.

The Knowledge you will take from this seminar:
This seminar will give you an understanding of what Knowledge Management is,
how it has emerged from several key strands of management thinking and a
useful review of many of the initiatives that can, and are being
implemented. Perhaps most importantly it will encourage you to respond
positively to the opportunity and the challenge represented by this subject.
If the leading writers are correct about its significance for the next
century, can you afford not to?

Seminar Director:
Nick Willard is an independent Management Consultant who specialises in
Knowledge Management. In 1992 he became a founder member of the Aslib IRM
Network and today continues as a Member of the Management Committee. He has
written a number of articles on the subject and is credited with the
development of what is now referred to as "Willard's Model". Over the last
three years he has concentrated on the broader subject of Knowledge
Management and is engaged, on an ongoing basis, to support several top
British companies in their pursuit of the subject.
