Roland
Thank you for pointing this out!
MGC is in the process of sending print copies of the report to all
Registered Museums, so your museum will be getting a copy in the next
few days.
On the editorial committee were Louise Smith (mda), Alice Grant (Science
Museum), Roland Jackson (modest as ever Roland!), Jane Carmichael (IWM),
Sophie Sutherland (NMDC), Nick Moore (Consultant Editor) and myself.
The were also a large number of people on various task groups and who
were involved in the consultation.
In due course, the report will be appearing in a more final form on
mda's website, with a link from MGC's site.

> A Netful of Jewels: New Museums in the Learning Age, a report from the
> National Museum Directors' Conference, was launched on Monday.
>
> The report, the writing of which was led by co-editors Suzanne Keene,
> Bruce
> Royan and David Anderson, sets out a vision and outline agenda and
> funding
> requirements for the development of museums online. There is
> considerable
> emphasis on learning, and David and I in particular have tried to
> build in
> ideas about the social and participative nature of museums online to
> complement the important dimension of access to collections-related
> information.
