Yes, games, that is what a great deal of language has been reduced to by
academic acolytes of French "intellectual" fashions. Sokal thinks the
issues are rather more important than that, as does Chomsky, both of whom
avoid obscurantist jargon and language games. It has not been games that
have been taking place in Kosovo, and language has played a role in the
killing.
