This is a slightly different question from usual on this list, but I'm
hoping many of you will be able to give me the benefit of your experiences.
Any advice gratefully received...
I've just been informed by the occupational health unit (we are a local
authority museum service) that volunteers need to fill in the same health
declaration form as paid staff. The completed form is confidential and only
seen by the occupational heath department, but I am concerned that some
volunteers (particularly the older ones) will be worried about filling out a
form of this nature. It includes details such as medication and asks
questions such as 'have you suffered from a nervous breakdown'.
Has anyone else encountered this issue?
