Dear All,
I want to compute the cumulative HIV and AIDS cases per 100,000
population for standard geographical areas.
In order to this, I have calculated this as follows:
Prevalence of HIV =
the number of cases reported
100,000 * ----------------------------
1000 * [ resident population (in thuosands)]
Date on the number of cases reported per year and area can be found
from the relevant office in London. Data on the resident population
can also retrieved by widely available publications.
I would be most grateful if you would offer me any suggestions on teh
above.
Thank you very much indeed for taking the time to consider
my request. I look forward to hearing from you.
Yours Sincerely
