Dear all
I've been wondering whith english friends on the origin of the
french locution "perfide Albion". No difficulty, of course, whith "Albion",
form the colour of the cliffs around Dover. The perfidy in itself is not
surprising : we're so close neighbours we have to squabble :-) ; but who
used first of the locution ? though it is not a really "medieval religion"
question, I think you'll know the answer, as usual !
