Hello,
Well, must admit to being in a small hole, who is Shaviro?
What is Cinematic Bodies about?
personally I am attempting to define a theory of autuer cinema as a
last stand (Custer) for film against tv (yes, its Fellini's
'Intervista') using Deleuze and the crystal (opening up of the
interval therein) as a way of slowing the line of flight, creating an
oscillation with film's past and thereby allowing film to exist as
more than just a speedy proliferation of images for consumption
(without virtual others around which they can oscillate, their own
past, essentially) ... ie tv.
This goes into the realm of the remake and such like. I presume this
has little to do with bodies? Can anyone enlighten me?
d.
