George Ferzoco suggested to me that members of the medieval-religion list
may be interested in the Online Chaucer Bibliography. A brief
description and log-on instructions are included below. Please let me
know if you have additions, corrections, or questions.

ONLINE CHAUCER BIBLIOGRAPHY
The Online Chaucer Bibliography now covers 1975-94, including all entries
published in the annual annotated bibliography of Studies in the Age of
Chaucer, vols. 1-17 and the entries that will be published in vol. 18. The
database at present holds some 4500 records, fully searchable by title,
author, subject, and keyword.
To access this research tool, simply TELNET to UTSAIBM.UTSA.EDU
and type <library> at the request for application. At the prompt,
request the <LOCAL> databases, and then specify <CHAU> for
the bibliography. Instructions for the search commands are online.
Patrons without TELNET capabilities can access the bibliography by
modem-connection (with phoneline charges) to (210) 561-8000 (300, 1200 or 2400
baud) or (210) 561-8050 (9600 baud): Start Bit 1; Stop Bit 1; Parity None.
The sign-off for the database is <STOP>.

The online bibliography is made possible by the New Chaucer
Society and the Library at the University of Texas at San Antonio. Many
thanks to Julie Lyon for her expertise, and to Steve Sorenson and Steve
Westman for their technical support.
