Another source that I've found useful is a little book entitled "What Became
of the Bones of St. Thomas? A Contribution to His Fifteenth Jubilee" by
Arthur James Mason (Cambridge Univ. Press, 1920). It's a lot older than
"The Quest for Becket's Bones," and doesn't have the lovely pictures--but
it's not superseded by the newer book because it brings together a lot of
good primary sources (both medieval and early modern) on the shrine and its
destruction, some both in the original language and in modern English
translation.
