A few days ago, Sherry asked about the feast of the Dedication of the
Basilica of Santa Maria Maggiore:

I can only share this tiniest of morsels: The 1502 Hereford calendar does
not include this feast, so the addition of this feast to the Sarum
breviary does not indicate a unaniminity (?) in English liturgical
observance regarding it.
