Myself and Dr. Laura Taalman worked with Shapeways and the New York Public
Library a few years ago to develop the resources I'm linking below. The
project was a pilot but the structure is based on software agnostic skills
for general CAD use for 3D making (additive or subtractive). The course was
designed for average computer users and not design students however we got
great feedback from participants who did have some design training.
