I think it was in the Portable webinar that they explicitly mentioned that it can be of value to continue your research with older people, since Portable's experience was older people love having something to do while they are in isolation (or maybe it was in one of the comments, I don’t remember exactly). If there are technological challenges, there are also ways to engage people with sensitising booklets which can be delivered without face-to-face contact, and follow-up interviews over the phone.
Every situation is unique of course, and goals and aims for research and learning might need to pivot a bit. Happy to explore more in detail here or over a call if you want, just hit me up.
