Hello Gemmers
Arts Award and HRP have been working together to create a half day CPD event that shows how historic buildings can be used across the curriculum, especially for creative subjects, and used for Arts Award Discover. The event was created with primary teachers in mind but can also be useful to museums and heritage people wanting to work with primary schools - and a chance to meet real live teachers!
The event is on March 19th from 2.00 - 5.30, it's free and includes a tour of the Tudor Rooms with a costumed guide. As if that weren't enough HRP also provide excellent tea and warm pastries!
Places are limited and can be booked here https://www.hrp.org.uk/schools/continuing-professional-development-and-training-for-teachers/art-is-everywhere-cross-curricular-learning/#gs.wv65d6
Hope to see some of you there!
Best wishes
Caroline
