English Heritage Trust is currently recruiting for a Creative Programme Manager.
Salary and terms: £44,345 per annum, depending on skills and experience / 36 hours per week / Fixed-term until 31st December 2022
The Creative Programme is a new contemporary arts programme, which aims to foreground and showcase in creative interventions, voices that are not typically heard and that inspire new ways of reflecting on English Heritage sites. As part of the Learning and Interpretation department, the Creative Programme Manager will contribute to English Heritage's interpretation of 'England's Stories', and building the Creative Programme year-on-year into a nationally and internationally significant programme, which not only supports the making of great art, but also makes a unique and significant contribution to England's creative and artistic ecology.
With an emphasis on performance and participation, you will develop, manage, coordinate, produce, and deliver flagship site-specific national/international artistic interventions for English Heritage as directed by the Head of Learning and Interpretation at multiple sites each year. You will develop projects to grow the audiences for English Heritage's sites and collections, encouraging visitors to take part in heritage, seeking out creative, original, exciting and fun ways of delivering Creative Programmes that help 'bring history to life.'
Interviews will be held on Monday 9 December in London.
