The Festival of Archaeology 2019 is drawing to a close- just a few more days of cracking events all over the country. You can discover what's on by visiting our Festival website here https://festival.archaeologyuk.org/
Thank you to everyone who has organised an event this year for making the Festival of Archaeology 2019 such a success. We have had over 1,000 events happening all over the UK during this fortnight- and over half a million people joining our twitter based #AskanArchaeologist discussions last week.
We thought you would like to have a couple of Festival of Archaeology 2020 dates for your diary next year:
The Festival of Archaeology 2020 will take place from 11-26 July 2020. Registration for 2020 will open in the autumn of 2019 so keep an eye out for updates.
On Wednesday 15 July 2020 our twitter based #AskanArchaeologist event will take place https://festival.archaeologyuk.org/ask
On Wednesday 22 July 2020 #ADayinArchaeology will take place https://festival.archaeologyuk.org/day
If you have organised an event we would be grateful if you could fill in our organiser survey to give us some feedback. Just click the link here https://www.surveymonkey.co.uk/r/Org2019
If you have visited a Festival of Archaeology event over the past fortnight, or intend to visit an event this weekend we would be very grateful if you could give us some feedback on your perspective as participants. You can simply click the link below- or you can use this link https://www.surveymonkey.co.uk/r/2019Festival
We are already cooking up plans for 2020 and we will be in contact in the autumn with more details!
