Find out how you can make your museum, gallery, archive or heritage venue accessible for people with a learning disability, and create exciting new opportunities for collaborations!
Cardiff People First will tell you about their amazing, award winning work in partnership with the Museum of Cardiff and Glamorgan Archives.
Hear how their Ely Hospital project empowered people to tell their own stories for the first time, and to lead in the co-production of a hard hitting physical and virtual exhibition. Hear from people with a learning disability who explored their own multicultural heritage and produced walking trails.
This event is part of their Take Over initiative, so after discussion you will get the chance to learn more about the museum from volunteers with a learning disability who will show you around and interpret some of the collections.
