Dear All,
I never thought I’d ever have to ask this* – and definitely not to the mailing list – but I’m looking for some advice on Randomized Control Trials (RCTs).
I’ve not used this method before, but I have a research project that I think would suit the use of RCTs to measure the efficacy of a design-led innovation programme. The method is used widely in entrepreneurship and innovation policy (and of course in health sciences and social policy where it’s considered a ‘gold standard’) but I wonder if anyone has used RCTs in design research, can provide any useful references or can offer advice on the pitfalls?
Thanks in advance,
Philip
