Hello all!
As we approach the summer holidays we're re-examining how we market our informal learning holidays offer to families and I wondered if any of you had any advice/experience that they could share (the good, bad and the ugly!).
Specifically, I'd be interested to know:
Do you send out leaflets for bookbags? If so, do you only distribute locally, or do you go further afield?
Do you use a company (i.e. Bags of info for kids) to distribute your leaflets to schools amongst others for your area?
If you make leaflets, how big do they tend to be? We're going to be running lots of activities over the summer, but if we tried to squeeze everything onto one leaflet it could look bulky and could get pricey.
What other forms of marketing do you use, and what in your experience has worked best (obviously this varies depending on where you are and budgets, but it's always interesting to hear what's worked for other places!)
We're in a bit of a muddle at the moment as we haven't had a fixed strategy for a while, so any advice would be extremely welcome!
Best wishes,
Ruth Yoxon
