Hello everyone,
I'm having an issue setting up a new FSL virtual machine. Following the instructions, I have installed VMware (version 15), and whatever the FSLvm package was in mid December just gone. This is on a Windows 7 machine.
Everything seems to have worked out fine, except for that I can't get the shared folder set up.
In the VMware settings, I have been able to specify a file pathway for the shared folder to be. I can see this folder on the windows side of everything in explorer. However within the virtual machine, if I navigate to /mnt the folder is simply empty. Following a tip from elsewhere on the web, if I type vmware-hgsclient into a terminal though, the folder I want to be shared IS returned.
I've tried searching the web for solutions, but run into the problem that most other people are troubleshooting Ubuntu machines and the solutions don't necessarily seem to apply.
Anyone else in the community had this issue?
Thanks very much in advance,
Iain
