You likely are not an admin or sudoer.
What you can do is make a copy of tbss_1_preproc in your own home directory (save it as tbss_1_preproc_mycode, etc.) and edit using any text editor and run that instead of tbss_1_preproc. When you're running your own, make sure you are in the directory where you saved your own code.
If code is not executbale, try running chmod u+x tbss_1_preproc_mycode to make it executable.
Hope that helps.
Danny

Subject: [FSL] edditing tbss_1_preproc
Hello,
I have already posted that I am having issues with too much erosion during the tbss_1_preproc script in my FA images and found this discussion thread.
https://www.jiscmail.ac.uk/cgi-bin/webadmin?A2=FSL;865dda22.1109
I wanted to give this a try but am having trouble editing the tbss_1_source code.
When I open the folder in a text editor and try to save it it either won't allow me to make the changes because I don't have permission or I can't execute it after copying it because I can only open the file in text editor.
Can anyone tell me how to change the source code of tbss_1_preproc so that I can remove the -ero function and see if this solves my registration issue?
Best,
Daniel
