Dear All,
My colleague Pippa Smith and I are in the process of pulling together
a proposal based on our Snapping the Stiletto project here in Essex
and are looking for collaborators.
We've worked extensively with "remote volunteers", who were doing
volunteering for us but away from the museums, frequently in their own
home and at times to suit them. This has included research,
transcribing, text writing etc. It has allowed us to engage with a
different, typically younger, demographic of museum volunteers.
Are you/your colleagues also working with remote volunteers? Or do you
know of an organisation who are?
