Are you passionate about delivering unique learning experiences for diverse audiences in fascinating locations?
Our learning team is expanding! We are seeking an enthusiastic, innovative and highly organised Learning Officer to join Scarborough Museums Trust across our two sites; Scarborough Art Gallery and The Rotunda Museum.
Scarborough Museums Trust has learning at its core. We are committed to creating and delivering imaginative events, programmes and activities to ignite curiosity and deepen engagement with and understanding of the Borough Collections. In consultation with the Learning Manager, you will be responsible for maintaining the Trust’s learning services, with specific responsibility for the delivery and potentially the development of our learning programmes and the review of our bookings and data collections systems. This includes responsibility for the administration of our Arts Council England funded Museums and Schools project.
You will be qualified in a relevant degree (teaching or museum studies for example) or have equivalent experience in an education or museum/gallery context. You will be confident in working with all key stages and across the breadth of the National Curriculum. You will be up to date with developments in museum learning and be able to think creatively.

This is a full-time, temporary contract to March 2020 and is subject to an enhanced DBS check. This role is funded by Arts Council England.
