We are delighted to open up submissions for our 2019 conference: “Visitor studies: reflecting the wider world, advocating for change?”.
Taking place March 7th and 8th at the National Gallery London, we are looking for sessions that explore, interrogate and understand how emerging trends – especially those borne from audience research both within and outside the sector – can help us to think about cultural organisations and the work we do. How do changes in the communities living and working around our institutions, and the way they spend their time, impact on the work we do. How does “success” change, and most importantly how do we as visitor studies practitioners capture and evidence this?
See the VSG Call for Papers 2019 with more detailed information about the theme here: http://visitors.org.uk/vsgconf19-call-papers/. We suggest some possible sessions structures, but if you have another format you would like to propose please do chat to us about it! You can contact us on [log in to unmask] The call closes on Friday 5th October.
With best wishes,
The VSG Committee
