Apologies if this has been asked before but…
We run volunteering days at public locations. If we take photos of these do we now need a separate consent from volunteers to use them for publicity purposes or on social media (without naming the individuals) or can we use an opt out basis for consent as part of our volunteer sign up procedures? I fear that the first approach is likely to be so hit & miss that it will render taking photos unworkable. One of our trustees has raised the question and I cannot find a simple answer.
