In September 2017 Birmingham City University will be launching the first Black Studies Degree in Europe. The course will focus on perspectives, experiences and contributions of the African Diaspora, across the globe. We will also be getting students to think beyond the university by engaging directly with community organisations and social institutions that work with Black communities.
Dr Kehinde Andrews will lead a session explaining Dr Kehinde Andrews will run a session that explains what Black studies is, why it is important and now is the perfect time to study for the degree.
