An exciting and unique opportunity has arisen for a Learning and Engagement Officer to join our Learning & Engagement Team to develop and deliver the successful and busy programme for schools, families and adults.
The successful candidate will have a background in teaching or experience of working with people in a museum or gallery learning setting. They will also have excellent creative skills and be able to develop workshop sessions and a range of learning resources to support the museum and exhibitions programme.
An interest in and experience of working with young people and adults is essential, as are excellent communication skills and the ability to positively engage with all ages and areas of the community and with stakeholders. The role has many opportunities for professional development in a busy Learning department, and working with our audiences are hugely rewarding, positive and fun.
Hours: 37.5 hours with occasional evenings and weekends of which time off in lieu is given
Salary: £18-19,000pa depending on experience
Reports to: Senior Learning & Engagement Officer
