The need for beauty is a biological need. Beauty is the organizing and
ordering aspect rooted in our biology with which humans did everything
in life. In traditional societies, beauty was not an afterthought.
There was nothing called art among these societies (the way modernity
has defined or is being practiced). But beauty was present in
everything they did. There is no division between the rational and the
irrational.
So a well-designed product is a natural outcome.
