Although this request is a result of my difficulties in reading Eduardo's
latest post, this is not about Eduardo or the content of his post. It is
about typography, sort of. Namely, readability.
To make posts readable on display screens, it would be useful if everyone
followed two very simple design rules:
1. Write short sentences and short paragraphs
2. Always have a blank line between paragraphs.
Point 2 usually requires the typing of two (2) Return keys between
paragraphs.
These rules are well established by experimental evidence from the
psychological literature on readability (with many eye-movement studies) as
well as the field of human-computer interaction. Probably also by studies
in graphic design and typography.
