Hi,
I was literally just about to ask a similar question - so following on from this, I have a brand new team (working within education outreach, with a special focus on hard to reach groups) and I need to pull together an induction/ training programme. I was was wondering if any one could recommend any particular team building, 'getting to know' your team activities and/ or training they have had in creating engaging sessions with students?
Any recommendations gratefully received.
Thanks
Claire

They mostly come from a history and heritage background rather than teaching so want to learn about formal education theory and practice, then get the paperwork to prove it. I have looked into the level 3 Award in Education and Training (formally PTLLS) but this primarily focuses on audiences 16+. Does anyone know of particularly appropriate opportunities I could give them?
