We have two opportunities to support the learning programmes at Derby Museums;
***Freelance Learning Facilitator ***
Responsibilities
• To deliver high quality, meaningful learning experiences for our family/school audiences through the facilitation of workshops and activities.
• To develop content for activities and complete relevant planning documents and risk assessments.
• To work in co-production with the Lifelong Learning Programmer and Schools Programmer to develop programming content for our family and school audiences.
• To set up and take down equipment for sessions, and maintain a clean working environment throughout activities.
• To monitor supplies of creative materials and equipment.
• To monitor participation of sessions and support in the evaluation.
***STEAM Powered Makers***
Responsibilities
• To deliver high quality, meaningful learning experiences for young people and family audiences through the development and delivery of making programmes
• To work collaboratively with Derby Museums staff and volunteers to develop ideas and programmes for young people, family and school audiences.
• To become an active member of the Maker Corps Community, undertaking online training and sharing learning as required by the Maker Education Initiative (Maker Ed).
• To assist in the training and supporting of volunteers recruited through the programme.
• To set and take down equipment for sessions, and maintain a clean working environment throughout activities.
• To monitor audience participation of sessions and support in the evaluation.
