Dear MCGers,
At the end of next month, the London Museum Development team would have completed its first year of the Digital Futures programme<http://www.museumoflondon.org.uk/corporate/about-us/museum-development-in-london/supporting-museums-with-digital-technologies/>. This programme is made up of free training sessions, from looking at social media strategy to using mobile devices within the galleries. In March, I will be reviewing the programme and deciding on the themes and topics for next year's sessions. Ideally, I'd love to make as many of those sessions as possible based around skills sharing. So I thought that I would contact you all, to see if there are any individuals in the group who would be interested in helping with some of next year's sessions.
I'm looking for those who have experience of using digital within their work; anything and everything from engaging audiences through social media or building apps with the help of third parties (or on your own). I am very open to suggestions for sessions, so please feel free to send me an email if you have any ideas, or if you would like to be involved with next year's programme. So if you've got any interesting digital projects on the go that you'd like to share with other museum professionals, or any skills that you feel you'd like to share too, please do let me know. Feel free to email me directly if you want some further information about myself, my role or the programme ([log in to unmask]<mailto:[log in to unmask]>).
Many thanks,
Alec Ward
