Hi
I am based at the Ironbridge International Institute for Cultural Heritage at the University of Birmingham, undertaking a AHRC funded CDA Studentship on Education at World Heritage Sites- with Ironbridge as my Case study. Find the research aims of my PhD below.
I am trying to find any research that shows:
-school trips to museums/heritage sites are the only source of 'cultural education' for many students
-school trips to local museums/heritage sites are the first time students have visited despite being local to them
I hope this makes sense and that you can help
Cheers
Jamie
