Learning Manager at the Roald Dahl Museum, Great Missenden, Bucks.
Salary: Circa £30,000 plus generous leave and employer pension contributions
Do you want to play a key role in a strong, evolving organisation, making a positive difference for thousands of visitors? Would you be thrilled at jumping feet first into the biggest year our Museum has ever known? If you have the drive and experience to deliver amazing museum learning that really sticks, you could be our new Learning Manager.
The Roald Dahl Museum and Story Centre celebrated our tenth birthday in 2015 and is a destination of choice for tens of thousands of schools, families and lovers of Roald Dahl's work from all over the world. 2016 is going to be an incredible year: It is ‘Roald Dahl 100’, the centenary of his birth.
Your role will be integral to establishing the learning legacy of our centenary programme, building on RD100 in 2017 and beyond. You will push our high standards of learning provision even further in our charming - but challenging - spaces, delivering maximum impact as a Champion of Good. You will also be keen to develop new skills and match your enthusiasms with the work of a Museum that really values and supports professional development.
Come and work with a friendly team in the lovely village of Great Missenden, just 45 minutes from London but surrounded by the beautiful countryside that inspired Roald Dahl.
We offer a competitive salary and 28 days of holiday plus an additional 8 days Bank Holiday allowance. You will work 37 hours per week, Monday to Friday plus occasional weekend work for events and/or as Duty Officer (time off in lieu given for any weekend work).
