Dear Paddy
Forgive my ignorance but what is a 'sandpit event'? It is conjuring up images of mad professors in glasses and white hair throwing sand in the face of an anxious curator whilst declaring 'it's not fair, my institution is better than yours'. Is that how it works? Or have I been to too many sandpits recently?
Best wishes and it's nearly Christmas!

If so, this ACE funded initiative may interest you. The Museum and University Partnership Initiative is facilitating a sandpit event and inviting museums and academics in the North East region to join us for a series of cross sector discussions with the objective of generating ideas for future projects. The first part of the event will explore current collaborative practice and provide participants with the opportunity to build their knowledge and formulate future partnerships.
