Good afternoon all,
We have been asked by our University's Widening Participation team to develop a half day session for Years 8+9 about museum / gallery careers as part of their 'It's Your Choice' programme. We have some ideas around conservation and interpretation activities but I wondered if anyone had any activity ideas particularly to liven up the bit where we talk about the range of jobs available so that it isn't just them shouting out job titles and us telling them about them. I thought perhaps about splitting them into small groups, picking a job title out of a hat then discussing what they think the role would entail but still rather dry, or the 'Who Am I?' game maybe.
Any ideas for this session would be greatly appreciated! Thank you,
Kirsty
