Dear All,
You are cordially invited by CultureCoventry to participate in LudiLunt, a museum hackathon in September. Lunt Roman Fort is a fascinating but long neglected historical site in the centre of England. It had a short but turbulent existence that was bound in with the uprising by Boudica and was lost to history until it was rediscovered in 1930.
LudiLunt will bring together writers, tech experts, experimental archaeologists, artists, educators and creatives of all kinds to share and develop ideas for reviving Lunt. The best idea will receive a prize but more importantly, all good ideas will be picked up and developed to receive funding.
This is a great opportunity to develop ways of communicating history and heritage and showcase our skills and talents. It will also be great for networking and there will be good media coverage. Participants are not being charged to take part, unlike other hackathons and people can even stay on-site if they choose.
Please find out more from the event website and register your interest today
