Good morning
We have the same problem, especially with English GCSE because when students have a reader they cannot read for the reading part and only read the few sentences of the writing part. Most students do not want anything read back to them.
Normally I have 4 in a room (prefarably different subjects) but this day there are too many not only for support but also for invigilation so the ones who are low level needs will be put together in a big room (10-12 students with 2-3 readers). The morning session I will have to do in two goes. One unfortunate group has to be in isolation for almost 90 minutes. And then to top it off that week I need to come in on the Saturday for one student with more than 6 hours on the Friday. But on the Thursday I have no exams at all.
Kind regards

Good Morning All
How does everyone cope with the proliferation of A Level and GCSE access arrangements and rooming the exams? We have one morning in June with 150+ students in the main Hall and then around 20 students who need various types of arrangements ranging from Scribes, Readers and WPs - all of which require separate rooming/invigilation.
For A level/GCSE exams, does anybody group together students with similar access arrangements and room accordingly - eg put 4 with Readers in the corners of a decent sized room?
3rd June is looming and it doesn't look very welcoming! Any suggestions would be much appreciated.
Thanks!
